A message from Bearcloud

When I discovered Beyond Words Publishing, I was very inspired as my book and everything about it is also beyond words.

My name is Bearcloud, and I am a Native American Indian spiritual painter, author, poet, and visionary. I am a spiritual holy man of the Ni-U-kon-ska Nation from Oklahoma. I am a pipe carrier and was given the title of Chief. I was born as a seer and vision seeker, and this is a gift.

I have been painting since I was 5 years old. Soon out of school, I began painting my visions of the Earth into my art, telling stories of the nature of Earth, Sky and the Universe. These were created from stories I heard growing up on the reservation and from the many ceremonies I have done throughout my lifetime. People who view my work can easily feel the spiritual essence within my paintings. When one looks closely at a painting, one will see images of people’s faces in the clouds, rocks and animal spirits telling stories within each piece. At first glance it can seem to be only a landscape painting but there is so much more.

I have owned a gallery in Sedona, Arizona, for over 30 years. I have sold my artwork in over 40 countries. My art transcends language barriers and deeply touches the hearts of spirit of many people. I also write poems for each painting along with the story of its origin so people can experience each painting at a greater level. Thousands of people visit my gallery a year, and I am now the oldest artist-owned gallery in Sedona.

In 1997, I began a journey with a symbolic language called crop circles in England. I became widely known for my ability to look inside these symbols and see other hidden, obscured symbols that tell stories.

In the following 10 years, I began having visions about why the pyramids of Egypt were built the way they were. I have discovered the ancient mystics had built a symbolic language of the stars within each of the primary pyramids.

This book is a mesmerizing journey of Spirit. I tell the story of these discoveries and the magical journey that unfolded along the way to reveal these secrets. Once a person sees the discoveries, it is very apparent they are genuine. This star language is what people have been searching to find since the pyramids were built.

My book is my living legacy as a visionary Native artist. It unfolds the story of this journey, and I have mingled approximate 30 of my paintings within the storyline of the book along with my poems and origin stories of the paintings. The book takes the reader on a journey of discovery that unlocks spiritual secrets of the Native American way of Spirt and what the ancient Egyptians had hidden within the pyramids. It allows the reader to integrate these ancient teachings into their own world.

I have discovered along the way that Egyptians actually had a very similar path of Spirit as Native Americans. This is one reason why these discovers could be made. There is a common thread that exists within these ancient cultures.

Through my visions, I show a connection that exist to other pyramids within our universe and may explain why we have had help from the star people over the last 5000 years since the pyramids where built.
