A Gifting of Spirit
“A Gifting of Spirit” is, in part, about a vision that has followed me for most of my life. This vision of Monument Valley first began for me when I was only five years old. In the flat grassy area of my origins, these three mountains would emerge like magic on the wind, although I never knew where they were located as I grew up painting them. My logical senses suggest that I must have seen the mountains in a book but I do not recall that happening. Regardless of how I discovered these three mystical formations, to this day, these mountains frequently cross my path in vision and find their way onto my canvas.
