Lodge of the Buffalo Bear
Lodge of the Buffalo Bear Heart was inspired by the qualities of light. There are three sources in this painting, the sunset, the moon and the lodge. It represents the polarities of which we are made, and the existence of mind, body, and Spirit. It tells the story of Heyoka, or thunder spirits, that have joined the sky. The lodge is the heart connection to all there is, protected by the faces of the four directions.
