Mirror of the Universe
Mirror of the Universe was inspired by the mystical colors of the desert and the polarities found in nature. In addition, I am always painting the opposites or dualities that exist in our world, as we live in a world created to have day and night, light and shadow. We see, all native people see, everything in nature as a relative. Sky Father, Earthmother, Grandmother the moon, each assisting our connection to the Earth, sky, and universe. Animal and nature spirits also help us with our journey. Eagle tells story of the morning sunrise while the bear tells stories of the night. Water becomes the mirror to see ourselves and our connection to the Universe.
